Tarcisio´s production has been characterized by the exploration of innovative means of expression, combined with concepts linked to the roots of Mexican culture. Also, he has committed to the diffusion of art as lecturer, promoter, jury, assessor, instructor, professor, tutor, curator and consultant. Throughout his career, he has received national and international prices for his works in painting, drawing, installation and ephemere artworks.

Also, Tarcisio has participated in the foundation diverse institutions such as "Salón 76", "Nuevas Tendencias" (New Tendencies), "COMPAS" (Coalition of Mexican Organizations for the Promotion of Art), "Atte. la Dirección", "Ex-Teresa Arte Alternativo", "Arte Hoy A.C." (Art Today) and "Salón Abierto" (Open Salon). In addition, he is director of Itsï ecologic project, which combines monumental sculptures with the care of the environment. From 1992 to 1993, he was a scholar of Creadores Intelectuales en Artes Visuales (Intellectual Creators of Visual Arts) and from 1993 to 2018, he was a member of the Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Artes Visuales (National System of Creators of Visual Arts). In his facet related to teaching, from 2009 to 2013 he has been director of the National Painting, Sculpture and Engraving School “La Esmeralda” (CENART, INBA) and professor of the Arts and Design Faculty in the National University (UNAM).
